Initial successes
The three classrooms are set up and the iSTEP team is ready to welcome the course participants. The IT Advanced group starts with the topic of databases and uses numerous examples to develop an understanding of the different data types, the structure of a database, query options, etc. The IT beginners group is learning the basics of computers, how to use the hardware, the various programs, how to save the data they create on their personal memory sticks, and much more. In both groups, we are seeing enormous enthusiasm and motivation among the children to learn new things.

After some initial uncertainty, the participants in the sewing group also enjoyed a sense of achievement. With beaming faces, they showed off their first self-made pencil cases. As a team, we can look back on a successful first day and once again conclude with joy that it was all worth it.
