Back in Albania
With a delay of one hour, the WiZZair Airbus landed in Tirana. Alketa, the director of the A2B aid organization, awaited us at the airport and took us to the hotel in Elbasan. After a quick snack, we quickly retreated to our hotel rooms, as we were very tired.
On Saturday, we were greeted by a blue sky, beautiful sunshine, and familiar music in the hotel courtyard. After breakfast, we prepared the room for the sewing course at the A2B center. All iSTEP materials that had been brought to Elbasan by aid transport were ready on site. Aside from one box that apparently ended up in the dirt during unloading and was also emptied out, everything was intact and worked fine. Since we are working with two IT groups and one sewing group for this mission, we rely on additional rooms. In the opposite school building, we are allowed to use two classrooms for the IT courses. We are excited, and on Monday, the course will begin. Best regards from Elbasan.
