After a Few Days
The IT course in Elbasan has now been running for a few days. Both the participants and the iSTEP team are very passionate and motivated.
After some initial difficulties with the accounting, both the IT course and the office course have now started in Elbasan. Many of the participants, aged 11 to 16, are a bit younger than we are used to from previous iSTEP missions, but this in no way diminishes their motivation or the fun of working together. Thanks to Peki, we have someone in both groups who can translate, in case English is not yet the common language.
The Office group was very excited at the beginning today. After a round of an online multiple-choice quiz that we created, where they could guess using their phones, they wanted to play the quiz again. The surprise was big when the answer choices no longer appeared in the same order as before, but the participants quickly got used to the fact that now knowledge, not just rote memorization, was being rewarded.
