Pink Floyd and Saying Goodbye
As I write this, an actual concert of the legendary rock band ‘Pink Floyd’ is playing on Albanian TV. Since I play guitar myself, I am always inspired by the riffs that lead guitarist David Gilmour coaxes from his Fender Stratocaster. It's one of those special moments in the hotel room, tinged with a bit of melancholy.
Now to Albania: once again, an intense and exciting time comes to an end. I am very grateful for how everything turned out. We gained many new experiences in our training programs. All these exciting experiences, the encounters with people, and the motivated togetherness were incredibly enriching and will remain as valuable memories. Just today, I visited the hospital in Lezha. One of the children from Casa Rozalba 1 had to be admitted. Fortunately, it was nothing serious, and the child could soon go home.
Now, the bags are packed again, and I am ready to travel to Switzerland. In my luggage, I carry countless stories, memories, and impressions that I will not easily forget. Whether I will return to Albania is still uncertain, but I am sure that my time there has left a lasting impression on me. Thank you, Albania, for these precious memories and special moments.
