“Hapur” – open
Our sewing studio is set up and open for enthusiastic participants. Yes, that's right, this time we even have Eri and Marc at the sewing machines, who are fully focused on their work. Their first pencil cases are impressive!

In addition to four women, we also have about six teenage girls visiting us. Ester and I are very busy explaining things, helping out, repairing broken needles, and untangling balls of thread. Everyone wants to sew something “quickly, quickly” and take it home with them.
I would like to provide some more basics so that sewing can continue even when we are no longer there. After all, the sewing machines from Switzerland will remain here and can continue to be used.
Die Freude an den gelungenen Necessaires, Taschen und Etuis ist aber immer sehr gross und unser albanisches Lob «mirë – shumë mirë» (gut / sehr gut) macht sie stolz!
Es freut uns besonders, dass Lindita, die Leiterin vor Ort, selbst begeistert mitnäht, damit sie später mit den Mädels und Frauen weiternähen kann! Damit sind wir dem Ziel von iSTEP nachhaltig zu sein näher gekommen.
