Chatting from the sewing room
This week is planned as a refresher course for the sewing class held in the spring. Since all the women in the sewing class are otherwise very active in the A2B center, the sewing machines have unfortunately been idle in the meantime. But it is with great joy that the production of cases and bags is being resumed. What makes the whole thing a little more difficult are new people who would like to join in the sewing but have no knowledge of sewing. This makes it difficult to meet everyone's needs.

A clarifying conversation helped, and now we are well on our way to continuing.
The idea is for the sewing group to produce various items that can be sold at the market in Elbasan, helping support the A2B charity. To reach Swiss standards, more practice is needed, especially to get ‘straight seams’!
Was mich wiederum sehr berührt, ist die grosse Dankbarkeit und Freude über unser Dasein. Sie geniessen die Zeit, die wir mit ihnen verbringen und dass wir unsere Fähigkeiten mit ihnen teilen.
This sentiment is confirmed in all the courses, often with tears in their eyes. Therefore, I can say that this week in Elbasan was more than worth it.
