We have all settled back into everyday life in Switzerland. But the impressions from Albania remain. Once again, I realize how privileged we are and how grateful I am to live in Switzerland.

There were many days during my school years when I didn't want to go to school. But today, I am incredibly grateful to have such easy access to education and to be able to complete a wonderful education. Unfortunately, this is not the case for many people.
We were welcomed with open arms in Elbasan, and the immense gratitude for our commitment was palpable every day. I have rarely seen such motivated, curious, and respectful children. I showed them how to design with marketing in mind, and the children created fantastic posters, photos, logos, and videos. I am very proud of the work process and the results. Enabling the children to take this course was an absolute highlight for me.
I had so many wonderful moments this week that I don't even know where to start. I was surrounded by loving people. I had great and informative conversations. During the break, the children taught me how to dance in Albania. On the very first day, I was often told that I was a great teacher, and at the end of the week, I was asked when I would be coming back. There were many compliments and heartwarming moments. But just like all the good things, there were also many touching moments that made me a little sad.
I look back on this experience with gratitude and am delighted to continue teaching the children online. I am confident that we will meet again.
