A2B Elbasan: Creative Online Course

The Multimedia course is perfect for you if you are passionate about creative work on computers – regardless of your prior knowledge. In this course, you will learn step by step everything from basic computer user skills to using common applications such as Office 365. You will dive into the world of multimedia and learn how to use various programs to create impressive projects.

What You Learn

The topics vary widely and cover different aspects of digital work. There is no overarching schedule for when each topic is covered, as this depends on the instructors of each course date. If you are interested, get in touch with us and we will gladly explain what is currently being taught in the courses. Below are topics we have already covered, but new ones may be added anytime:

  • Computer User Basics: Introduction to the basic operation and usage of your computer.
  • Office 365: You will learn the basics of using the essential Office applications Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Depending on availability, the free LibreOffice versions Writer, Impress, and Calc will be used.
  • Design and Layout with Canva: Basics of design (e.g., typography, color theory, layout). You will learn what makes an appealing design and how to go from a blank page to a finished design. The implementation takes place in Canva, a design program that can be used both in the browser and as an application.
  • Photography with Darktable: You will learn the three fundamental camera settings, different image settings, and principles for creating an appealing picture. You will also learn how to edit your photos using Darktable.
  • Videography with DaVinci Resolve: You will learn about film history and how films are made. You will write a script with guidance, create a storyboard, and film it. This can be done with a camera or smartphone. Editing and cutting the film will be done using DaVinci Resolve.

Practical Work

  • Self-designed flyer
  • Drawing storyboards
  • Film production: Writing a script, filming, editing, adding sound, and exporting.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact the course instructors.
